5.1.51 Upgraded by Seventh CPC -- New Pay Matrix
Suppose, Ms. ABC, who is presently drawing a
Basic Pay of ₹12,560 in GP 2400 (10160+2400),
is upgraded to GP 2800 as a result of Seventh
CPC’s recommendations. Then the fitment will
be in two steps:
1. The new basic pay will be computed
using the upgraded grade pay. The pay
arrived will be as follows:
Basic Pay: 10160+2800=12,960.
2. Then this value will be multiplied by a
factor of 2.57 and then rounded-off to the
nearest Rupee. In this case 12960 x 2.57
= 33,307.20, which will be rounded-off
to ₹33,307. She will then be placed in the
Pay Matrix in the Level corresponding to
her upgraded Grade Pay, i.e. GP 2800
(Level 5 in this case) in a cell either equal
to or next higher to ₹33,307. In this case,
her salary will be fixed at ₹33,900.

7 ஊதியக்குழு
900 பக்கம் கொண்ட 7 ஊதியக்குழுவின் அறிக்கையை நவம்பர்-19 ல் மத்திய நிதித்துறையிடம் சமர்ப்பிக்க படும் என தகவல்!!!
7-வது சம்பளக் கமிஷனின் அறிக்கை இந்த வாரத்திற்குள் தாக்கல்: 15 சதவீதம் சம்பளம் உயர வாய்ப்பு
மத்திய அரசு ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் ஓய்வூதியர்களின் ஊதியத்தை மாற்றியமைக்கும் ஏழாவது சம்பளக் கமிஷன் அறிக்கை நவம்பர் 19-ம் தேதி தாக்கல் செய்யப்படும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
மத்திய அரசு ஒவ்வொரு 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை சம்பள கமிஷனை அமல்படுத்தி வருகிறது. அதன்படி 2016–ம் ஆண்டுக்கான சம்பள கமிஷன் பரிந்துரை அறிக்கையை தயாரிக்க நீதிபதி ஏ.கே.மாத்தூர் தலைமையில் 2014–ம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி மாதம் ஒரு குழு அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த குழு ஆகஸ்டு மாதத்திற்குள் அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டு இருந்தது. இந்நிலையில் இதற்கான காலக்கெடு 4 மாதத்துக்கு அதாவது டிசம்பர் 31–ந் தேதி வரை நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டது. பல்வேறு தரப்பினரிடம் இந்த குழு கருத்தை கேட்டறிந்தது.
இந்நிலையில் சம்பள கமிஷன் பரிந்துரை அறிக்கை தயாராக இருப்பதாகவும், விரைவில் நிதித்துறை அமைச்சகத்திடம் அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட உள்ளதாகவும் ஏற்கனவே தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
இந்நிலையில், 7-வது சம்பளக் கமிஷனின் அறிக்கை நவம்பர் 19-ம் தேதி தாக்கல் செய்ய உள்ளதாக தகவல்கள் வெளியாகியுள்ளன. 15 சதவீதம் ஊதிய உயர்வு அளிக்க அறிக்கையில் பரிந்துரை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
2016–ம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 1–ந் தேதி முதல் அமல்படுத்தப்பட உள்ள திருத்தப்பட்ட ஊதியம் மூலம் சுமார் 48 லட்சம் மத்திய அரசு ஊழியர்களும், 55 லட்சம் ஓய்வூதியதாரர்களும் பயன் அடைவார்கள். இந்த குழுவின் செயலாளராக மீனா அகர்வால் உள்ளார். இக்குழுவில் ஓய்வு பெற்ற ஐ.ஏ.எஸ். அதிகாரி விவேக் ராவ், பொருளாதார நிபுணர் ரத்தின் ராய் ஆகியோரும் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளனர்.
மத்திய அரசு ஊழியர்கள் மற்றும் ஓய்வூதியர்களின் ஊதியத்தை மாற்றியமைக்கும் ஏழாவது சம்பளக் கமிஷன் அறிக்கை நவம்பர் 19-ம் தேதி தாக்கல் செய்யப்படும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.
மத்திய அரசு ஒவ்வொரு 10 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு ஒருமுறை சம்பள கமிஷனை அமல்படுத்தி வருகிறது. அதன்படி 2016–ம் ஆண்டுக்கான சம்பள கமிஷன் பரிந்துரை அறிக்கையை தயாரிக்க நீதிபதி ஏ.கே.மாத்தூர் தலைமையில் 2014–ம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி மாதம் ஒரு குழு அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த குழு ஆகஸ்டு மாதத்திற்குள் அறிக்கை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டு இருந்தது. இந்நிலையில் இதற்கான காலக்கெடு 4 மாதத்துக்கு அதாவது டிசம்பர் 31–ந் தேதி வரை நீட்டிக்கப்பட்டது. பல்வேறு தரப்பினரிடம் இந்த குழு கருத்தை கேட்டறிந்தது.

DOP to seek Cabinet nod to raise Rs 292 cr to set up payments bank

The Department of Posts (DoP) will approach the Cabinet within two months for raising Rs 292 crore from the public investment board to set-up a payments bank,
for which it has already got the RBI approval.

"The DoP is going to take approval for Rs 292 crore fund from Public Investment
Board (PIB) after which it will be submitted for Cabinet approval.
We expect the fund to be cleared in two months," an official source told PTI.
Payments bank licence allows companies to collect deposits
(initially up to Rs 1 lakh per individual), offer Internet banking, facilitate money
transfers and sell insurance and mutual funds. Besides, they can issue ATM or debit
cards, but not credit cards.
The postal department had earlier tried for a Rs 632-crore fund from government
for full fledged banking services but it was not cleared by the PIB.
Government has in-principle agreed to the entry of Postal department in banking
services through the payments bank route.
"The DoP expects to roll out payment bank services by March 2017. There are .
no major infrastructure issues. Only we need to set up a data centre and
disaster recovery centre which will be done soon," the official said.
The Department is also in the final stages of appointing a consultant that
will guide it in setting up a payments bank.
According to another official source, the Department may go for a hybrid
model under which about 600 branches will be directly operated by
payment bank staff in post office premises and transactions in other parts
of the country will be supported by its staff

The cabinet has consented to give four more months for the 7th Pay Commission to submit its report.
The 7th Pay Commission was constituted on 28.02.2014 by the centre. The 18 months’ time given to the Commission ends today. The Commission has stated that there is excess of pending workload to prepare final report and that they want to intensive consultation with stakeholders. Hence, the cabinet gave a nod to extend the time until December for the Commission to carry out its work.
As a result of this new development, the Commission will submit its report in January 2016.
All Central Government employees are now wondering what the real reason could be for the sudden delay..!
